1. Booking and Payments

• Retainer: A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. This amount will be applied toward your total balance.

• Payment Schedule: Full payment must be received prior to or on the day of the session, as specified in your invoice.

• Cancellations: If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a fee.

2. Gallery Delivery & Pixieset Usage

• Delivery: High-resolution digital images will be delivered via a password-protected Pixieset gallery within the timeframe specified in your contract (standard delivery is usually 2–4 weeks).

• Archiving: Pixieset galleries are hosted for 6 months from the date of delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to download and backup all images. Kryptic Lens Photography is not responsible for data loss after the gallery has expired.

• Download Limits: Depending on your selected package, downloads may be limited to a specific number of images or a specific resolution.

3. Copyright and Usage Rights

• Ownership: Kryptic Lens Photography retains the copyright to all images created during the session.

• Personal Use: Clients are granted a Personal Use License, allowing them to print images and share them on social media.

• Prohibited Uses: Clients may not sell, edit/alter (no filters), or enter the images into contests without written permission. Commercial use requires a separate licensing agreement.

• Attribution: When posting to social media, credit to Kryptic Lens Photography is greatly appreciated.

4. Model Release & Portfolio

• Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the client grants Kryptic Lens Photography the right to use images for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and portfolio displays.

• If you require a "Privacy Clause" (e.g., for sensitive shoots), please notify us prior to the session.

5. Artistic Style

• The client acknowledges they have reviewed the photographer's portfolio and are booking based on the photographer's specific artistic style and editing aesthetic.

• Requests for "raw" or unedited files will not be honored, as they are considered unfinished products.

6. Limitation of Liability

• In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, or illness, the photographer’s liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

• Kryptic Lens Photography is not responsible for injuries sustained during the session or for the quality of prints obtained through third-party labs not affiliated with the Pixieset gallery store.
